Fans of Real Housewives of Orange County still don’t know if Vicki Gunvalson will return for Season 14, but her recent social media activity may have just given them a hint. Is the OG of the OC going to refuse the demotion to friend status and say goodbye to RHOC?
According to All About TRH, the rest of the cast has started shooting for the upcoming season, but Gunvalson is currently vacationing in The Bahamas with her boyfriend, Steve Lodge. She posted on social media that she was still in negotiations with Bravo, and fans should ignore the rumors and wait to hear the news from her. But, the rumors of her demotion have continued to gain steam.

Now, Gunvalson has retweeted a critical Housewives post that fans believe is confirmation that she is on her way out. Apparently, the 56-year-old is not a fan of the “new, hungry housewives” and prefers the originals.
This whole situation has been confusing from the beginning. Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis started it all when he revealed on his SiriusXM show Jeff Lewis Live that he had heard Gunvalson had been demoted.
Kelly Dodd also called into the show and said she had heard the same thing. Both Lewis and Dodd do not get along with Gunvalson, so there was always the possibility that the information was false. Neither of them could confirm or deny the rumor, they simply spread it.

Once the news hit that the RHOC cast had started filming without Gunvalson – and that they added newbie Braunwyn Windham-Burke – it started to look like Gunvalson’s demotion was real.
And, why would Gunvalson still be in The Bahamas if she was in negotiations with Bravo and planning on filming Season 14?
Well, it could be because she is laying the groundwork for a major storyline. Earlier this week, Gunvalson posted a video to her Instagram Story of her going ring shopping. But, the video cut off before fans got the chance to look at THAT finger.
